Jean Alba Robson

Jean Alba Robson, of Auburn, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region, age 83. The daughter of the late Lewis M. & Alba M. (Moeller) Robson, she was born April 14, 1930 in Bay City. Jean attended Edison Elementary School in Bay City, graduated from Bay City Central High School in 1948 and then completed business courses at Bay City Junior College. She worked in the communications department of Dow Chemical Co. for nearly 40 years. Jean has been a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she served as an Elder and was active with the Presbyterian Women's Association. For the past 45 years Jean has resided in Auburn where she was a member of the City of Auburn Election Commission and was active with the Mayor Exchange Days. Jean is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, David & Ardis Robson of Bay City; two nieces and a nephew, Debbie & Frank Milkowski of Wake Forest, NC, Sue Robson of Boston and Tom & Kelly (Baranowski) Robson of Auburn; four great-nieces and nephews, Jordan Milkowski, Shaylyn Ferrel, Rachel Robson and Reid Robson; and four great-great-nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn, Cameron, Hailie and Averie. The Funeral Service will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 103 E. Midland St. Officiating will be Rev. Matthew Schramm. Private interment will be in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Ms. Robson will lie instate at the church on Thursday from 2:30 p.m. until the time of service.
