Karr, Jeanette M. (Sprywa) Bay City, Michigan Jeanette (Spagnuolo) Karr died Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Carriage House of Bay City at the age of 75 years. She was born on February 22, 1938 in Midland and graduated from Midland High School in 1956. She began working at The Dow Chemical Company as a co-op and worked full and part-time until her retirement in 1993. On July 24, 1965 she married Ray Sprywa in St. Brigid's Catholic Church and then moved to Bay City and Ray preceded her in death on April 27, 1996. On November 14, 2003 she married Al Karr and he survives her along with two daughters and their families; Julie and Matt Feinauer, Nick, Brian; Mary Jerome-Sprywa; Abby, Macie, step grandchildren; Josh and Courtney and Jenna Jerome; a sister; Lillian (Jack) Dielkey of Las Vegas, sisters-in-law; Geri Westover of Bay City, JoAnn Spagnuolo of Las Vegas; nephews, nieces, a special nephew; Richard M. Fitzgerald and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; Virginia (Felice) and George Spagnuolo, sister; Teresa Dockham and brothers; Frank and Pat Spagnuolo and nephew; Dan Fitzgerald. Jeanette was an active parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and a member of the League of Catholic Women and Men and the National Bridge Association. She did volunteer work, enjoyed playing cards with friends, bingo and a trip to the casino. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert S. Gohm with the Rite of Committal Service in Old Calvary Cemetery in Midland, MI at 3:30 p.m. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Tuesday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.. The Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 6:45p.m. followed by the Vigil for the Deceased at7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Jeanette will be taken to the church to lie in state on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of the Mass. Those wishing to make a donation in her memory may consider Holy Trinity Catholic Church or McLaren Visiting Nurse and Hospice
