Jeannette F. Shank

Mrs. Shank passed away at Bay Shores Nursing Center on July 27, 2017. Age 78 years. Jeannette was born on April 13, 1939 to the late John Sr. and Mary (McDonald) Malusi. On October 13, 1962 she married Gary Shank who survives her along with their four children, Kimberly (Philip) Fairchild, Diane (Bob Archer) Shank, Carol (Aaron) Eaton and Gary (Anggie) Shank Jr; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Jeannette also leaves behind her sister, Mary Ann Kazmierski, brother, Donald Malusi and sister-in-law, Diane (Paul) Ruthig. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, John Malusi Jr. and sister, Lorraine Van Hurk. Jeannette loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She also loved her dogs and a good Schmear card game. Per Jeannette's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2017 with Rev. Charles Campbell officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to the Midland County Humane Society.
