Mrs. Siminski passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Carriage House at the age of 86. The daughter of the late Walter and Madonna Harhala was born May 5, 1935 in Bay City, Michigan. Joan was a supervisor at Kmart for 22 years. In 1956 she married Richard Siminski and he passed away on June 6, 2020, she enjoyed collecting refrigerator magnets and was meticulous about dating items in her home, right down to dating individual eggs, loved listening to polka music, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. When the grandkids came over they knew they had to be good or the "buffy stick would come out" and the great grandkids had to worry about her dance moves in the living room.
Joan is survived by her four children, Dennis Siminski, Linda (Scott) Anderson, Janet Witzke and Kimberly Siminski; nine grandchildren, Kevin Lawler, Robert Witzke, Joseph (Kat) Witzke, Justin (Kristi) Siminski, Erik (Kristina) Hadd, Patrick (Jessica) Witzke, Tiffany Siminski, Kayla (Freddy) Siminski-Rodriguez and Dennis (Jessica) Siminski; nine great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Siminski and many nieces and nephews and one on the way. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Siminski; grandson, Derrik Siminski; sister, Madonna Harhala; son-in-law, Robert Witzke and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert and Coreen Pajak, Michael Siminski and Eugene and Maryann Siminski.
