Mrs. MacPhee passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012 at her residence. She was 79. The daughter of the late Harold and Juliet (Legg) Yeager was born November 10, 1932 in Bay City, MI. She formerly attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mrs. MacPhee retired from Michigan Community Services as an area supervisor. She was a member of the Amvets Post #22 Women's Auxiliary, driver for Bay County Meals on Wheels, and volunteer for the Bay County Women's Shelter. An avid Detroit Tigers fan, she enjoyed group outings with her friends and most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She is survived by her husband; Charles A. MacPhee whom she married June 26, 1954, her children; Charles A. MacPhee Jr., Cathleen (James) Paine and Dan J. (Mona) MacPhee, grandchildren; Quinn Lane and Kyle Spencer, Connor, Spencer and Katrina MacPhee, Ryan and Anthony Hamme, Amber Paine, Chris and Brendan MacPhee, two great grandchildren; Alexis and Autumn, her son-in-law; Dan Spencer, and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter; Cynthia J. Spencer, grandson; Collin Spencer and two sisters; Gloria Parent and Betty Wilford. At the request of Mrs. MacPhee, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Sister Gail Addis I.H.M. with private inurnment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial cards for the Bay County Women's Shelter or Bay County Meals on Wheels will be available at the funeral home.
