Joanne W. Anderson Bay City, Michigan Our beloved mother and grandmother passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Auburn Fields Assisted living with her family at her side. Age 91 years. The daughter of the late John D. and Edna L. (Witt) Frank was born on October 3, 1924 in Flint, Michigan. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Bay Valley Christian Church, the head of the Prayer Ministry, served as a Deacon, had a love for painting and was a breast cancer survivor. Left behind to cherish her memories are one son and one daughter-in-law; Martin R. and Pamela D. Anderson of Bay City, one daughter and one son-in-law; Natalie J. and Richard Thomas Fielder of Auburn, five grandchildren; Mackenzie N. Lakatos and her husband Cory, Ian P. Anderson, Michael P. Fielder, Shaena M. Fielder and Brooke A. Fielder, three nieces and three nephews. On October 18, 1947 she married Paul S. Anderson and he preceded her in death on July 18, 1997. She was also preceded in death by one brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Howard L. and Arleen Anderson, one sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Helen F. and Kenneth Patenge and one nephew; Craig Anderson. Funeral Services will take place Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Brad Williams with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Friday to receive visitors from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial contribution to "Breast Cancer"-American Cancer Society
