John L. Becerril

Becerril, John L. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Becerril passed away peacefully Sunday, April 7, 2013. Age 58 years. He was born March 10, 1955 in Bay City, Michigan. Mr. Becerril retired from Saginaw Steering Gear and was a member of the U.A.W. Local 699. He was an avid golfer and loved playing darts, enjoyed music, movies and was a graduate of John Glenn High School. Mr. Becerril is survived by his mother, Lupe Barocio of Bay City; brothers and sisters, Maryjane Espinosa, Mike Becerril, Paul Becerril, Debbie (Nelson) Bond, Margaret (Jaime) Martinez, Mark (Sue) Becerril, Wendy (Ken) Miller, Sal (Angie) Becerril, Jason (Heidi) Becerril, Katrina Smallwood and Brian Becerril, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; one uncle, Silverio (Judy) Becerril; lifelong friends, Roger, Rob, Kurt and many other friends. Mr. Becerril was preceded in death by his father, Juan M. Becerril; step father, Andy Barocio; and his niece, Jessica Bond. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson with interment following in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday from 2:000 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for Heartland Hospice will be available at the funeral home.
