John M. Fisher

Fisher, John M. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Fisher passed away Wednesday evening October 30, 2013 at Caretel Inns of the Tri-City's at the age of 87 years. He was born on June 18, 1926 in Sunbury, OH. John was a member of New Life Missionary Church, he retired from Delta College as the Food Service Director, he enjoyed a good game of golf and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Fisher is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Ronald and Susan Fisher of Saginaw, MI, one daughter and son-in-law; Teresa and Bill McKinsey of Marshall, IL, his grandchildren; Ryan Fisher of Ann Arbor, MI, Chad Fisher of Saginaw, MI, Ian McKinsey and Elly McKinsey both of Marshall, IL, one brother-in-law; Don Fairchild and many nieces and nephews. On September 18, 1949 he married the Former Virgie M. Fisher and she preceded him in death on August 15, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his parents; Merwin and Florence (Matthews) Fisher, one brother and one sister-in-law; James and Ruth Ann Fisher and one sister; Eloise Fairchild. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at New Life Missionary Church. Officiating will be Rev. Jonathan Boyer with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday receive family and friends from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.. Mr. Fisher will be taken to the church on Saturday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
