John H. Goyett

Mr. John H. Goyett, of Bay City, passed away Thursday morning, January 5, 2017 at Country Square A.F.C. in Auburn, age 86. The son of the late Francis and Henrietta (Nickel) Goyett, Sr., he was born on May 20, 1930 in Bay City. John served his country in U.S. Army from 1951 until 1953. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. John retired from Bay City Chevrolet in 1982. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.
On May 1, 1954 John married the former Joyce Ann Richter and she survives his passing along with their son, Jeffery Goyett; a grandson, Cameron Goyett; and two sisters, Nancy Thompson and Alice (Wayne) Murringer. Besides his parents, John was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christina Goyett; his brother, Francis Goyett, Jr.; and two sisters, Betty Jane Bolduc and Mary Kelly.
The Funeral Service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt. Private interment will be in Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
