John "Jack" F. Reynolds

John passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 88 years. He was born on October 23, 1933 in Essexville, Michigan to the late Earl and Nellie (Willett) Reynolds. John was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church for many years and a member of the UAW Local 362. John worked for 34 years at Bay City Powertrain as a benefits plan representative. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He also loved working on machinery and fixing lawnmowers and snowblowers in his garage.
John is survived by his wife the former Florence E. Donnelley, whom he married on May 22, 1954; children, Cathy (Timothy) Rex and Randy (Tina) Reynolds; grandchildren, John (Tonya) Reynolds, Randy Reynolds, Joshua (Katie) Rex, Jessica (fiancée Ryan Gregg) Rex and Jenna (Jeff) Lemuel; great grandchildren, Reese Rex, Hunter Rex, Mila-Rose Gregg, Jace Lemuel, Sophia Ramsey, Lydia Reynolds, Mace Reynolds and Hadleigh Vachon; sisters, Gloria Nuenke and Marilyn Trump; sister-in-law, Cindy Reynolds and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Reynolds; infant Reynolds; brothers, Orlin (Pat), Eldon (Gloria) and Gavin; sister, Audrey (William) Nelson
Funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be The Rev. Nancy Mayhew with interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery with military honors by the Bay County Veterans Council. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
