LeClair, John Julius Essexville, Michigan Jack passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 suddenly in Pinconning, MI at the age 75 years. He was born July 13, 1937 in Standish, Michigan and has resided in Bay County most of his life. He was a member of Kawkawlin Community Church and retired from the maintenance department of the Bay City Housing Commission. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding his motor cycle and most of all he cherished the time he spent with his granddaughter Olivia who was the love of his life. On April 27, 1963 he married his loving wife of fifty years the former Beatrice (Sugar) Steward and she survives his passing along with one son and daughter-in-law; Robert and Kendra (Stevens) LeClair , his loving granddaughter; Olivia LeClair, his mother; Charlotte Philopulos, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Edward and Diane LaClair, Bill and Jeanette, Louie and Becky, all of Bay City, David and and Sue of Beaver, Andrea (her companion Pat), Lori (her companion Kelly) Philopulos of Bay City, Judy and Joe Clancey of Kawkawlin and Diane and Brooke Keane of Essexville and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one daughter; Brenda Lee LeClair, father; Elmer LaClair, step-father; Andy Philopulos, father-in-law and mother-in-law; John F. and Beatrice Steward and one brother-in-law; Johnny Steward. Funeral Services will take place Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 12:00 O'clock Noon at Kawkawlin Community Church 311 Grove St. Kawkawlin, MI 48631. Officiating will be Rev. David Dunn with interment following in Elm Lawn Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m.. Mr. LeClair will be taken to the church on Tuesday to lie in state from 11:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for the Wishes of the Family will be available at the funeral home.
