Mr. Adamczyk passed away Saturday evening, May 7, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 83 years. The son of the late Stanley and Mary (Reder) Adamczyk was as born March 14, 1933 in Bay City. He formerly attended St. Hyacinth Parish. Mr. Adamczyk retired from Grey Iron Foundry. He was a member of the V.F.W. and U.A.W. Local # 668. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, watching the Detroit Tigers, watching his grandchildren's sporting events, walking in the park, playing cards, going to the casino, magic tricks and was an avid photographer. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Left behind to cherish his memory are his children, Gretchen (Larry) Webster; Gregory (Wendy) Adamczyk; Douglas (Sharon) Adamczyk; Trina (Richard) Belger and Amanda Chamberlain; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Rose Kanicki; Phil (Rita) Adamczyk; Lenny Adamczyk; Josephine (Jack) Rezler and Al Adamczyk; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brothers, John, Leo, Casmer, Frank and Tony Adamczyk; one sister; Verna Harvurne; two grandsons, Brad Webster and Craig Neubecker. Funeral Services will take place Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be EJ Brown followed by Military Honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council. The family will be present at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services to receive family and friends.
