Joseph P. "Joey" Clancey Jr.

Joey passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at his residence, with his family by his side, at the age of 51 years. He was born July 10, 1968 in Bay City, Michigan. Joey was a Metal Fabricator and worked for Charter Communications. He had a passion for riding motorcycles and building and working on motorcycles. He has a great love for his children, grandchildren and family and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and his dog, Dorian.
Left behind to cherish is memories are his children, Erika Griffin, Joseph (Michelle) Clancey III, Ashley (Russ) Miller, Nate (Kassie) Clancey, Dakota Smeaton, Cheyenne Clancey and Skylar Clancey; grandchildren, Lilly, Aurora, Tallulah, Nathan Jr., Kaylee, Anthony and Kaiden; his parents, Joseph and Judy Clancey Sr.; uncles and aunts, Bill Clancey, Beatrice "Sugar: LeClair and Diane and Brooke Keane; his special cousin, John Steward and many other cousins;his special friends, Dave and Robin Umphery, Matt Thomas, Russ LaPlant , Joe Reno and many other friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Laura Clancey and John and Beatrice Steward; his uncles, Johnny Steward and John "Jack" LeClair; his friend, Dickie Stevens.
Private funeral services for the family will take place on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Christian Assembly Church. Officiating will be Pastor Matt Place with cremation following. The family will be present at the church on Monday to receive family and friends from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. We will be following the social distancing guidelines and the number of people in the church at one time for visiting so you may experience a wait to pay your respects.
