Gougeon, Joseph Dene Bay City, Michigan The son of the late Joseph A. and Fannie (Clover) Gougeon passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Tender Care Nursing Home in Clare, MI. Age 94 years. He was born January 19, 1919 in Bay City. Joe was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Bay City Yacht Club. Mr. Gougeon was a well- known boats man to the Saginaw Bay Area where had a great love for sailing and power boating. He was the former owner and operator Gougeon Used Cars and proudly served his country in United States Army during the WW II. He is survived by two nephews and their spouses; Mead A. and Janet Gougeon and Joel D. and Kaye Gougeon of Bay City, one niece; Laura Lee Livingston of Bellingham, WA, eleven great nieces and nephews and ten great great nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother and sister-in-law; Mead W. and Elizabeth Mae Gougeon, one sister; Cornelia Livingston, one niece; Pamela Jo Thomas and one nephew; Jan C. Gougeon. A Memorial Service will take place Monday, June 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Matthew Schramm with inurnment following in Oak Ridge Cemetery. At the request of Mr. Gougeon cremation has taken place. The family will be present at the funeral home on Monday to receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of the service. Memorial cards for Catholic Family Services will be available at the funeral home.
