Mr. Napieralski passed away at his residence on Monday, August 17, 2020. Age 91 years. The son of the late Joseph and Bertha (Collier) Napieralski was born July 17, 1929 in Bay City, Michigan. Mr. Napieralski was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. He retired as a truck driver from Leaseway trucking. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean conflict and was a member of the 19th Bomb group, the 19th Bombardment Association and was a mechanic on the B-29's. Mr. Napieralski enjoyed traveling to all 50 states in his motorhome with his wife.
Mr. Napieralski is survived by his wife, Judy, whom he married on April 25, 1970; four children, Catherine Grace Napieralski, Beth Ann (Mark) Witucki, Marcia Lynn Zigmund and Allan (Rose) Napieralski; seven grandchildren, Melissa, Justin, Maximillion, Ryan, Arwyn, Anna and Madeline; five great grandchildren, Jade Joy, Bo Elizabeth, Asher, Cameron and Declan; two nephews, Richard and Randall Hill and one niece, Colleen Orvis. In addition to his parents Mr. Napieralski was also preceded in death by one son, James Conrad Napieralski and two sisters, Barbara Mailette and Patricia Menne.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ben from McLaren Hospice for his compassion and care that he gave to Joseph.
Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Messiah Lutheran Church with military honors to follow under the auspices of the Bay County Veterans Council. Officiating will be Rev. Andreas H. Teich with private interment following at St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to McLaren Hospice or Messiah Lutheran Church.
