(Aunt Jo) Josephine Guerrazzi, of Bay City, Michigan passed away Sunday morning, February 26, 2012, age 101. She was born in Saginaw, Michigan, on September 23, 1910 to the late John and Emma (Adragna) Finazzi. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Parish, Felician Sisters, and their Senior Citizens Club. She and her husband Albert owned and operated two very successful restaurants in Bay City. Al's Pizzeria on 22nd St. and later Josephine Pizzeria on Columbus Avenue. Mrs. Guerrazzi is survived by one sister-in-law, Virginia Finazzi, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was especially close to her sister Rose Militello's children: John, Vincent, Michael, Roslyn Derdowski, Emma Powell, and Jeanne Peterson. In 1926 she married Albert Guerrazzi and he predeceased her in 1968. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Joseph, Michael and William and her sisters Jenny Daidone and Rose Militello. The family would especially like to recognize and thank the Carriage House of Bay City for the wonderful and special care Josephine received while she was living there. Each and every one of those dear people are angels. The Funeral Liturgy & Rite of Committal will take place at 11:00am on Thursday March 1, 2012 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church. The Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Richard M. Filary. Entombment will be in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum in Saginaw. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00pm. Mrs. Guerrazzi will lie instate at the church on Thursday from 9:30am until time of Liturgy.
