Joyce A. Hausmann

Mrs. Joyce A. Hausmann, of Bay City, passed away surrounded by her family, following a sudden illness, early Thursday morning, February 4, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region, age 67. The daughter of the late Steven and Leona (Bezesky) Toth, she was born on June 16, 1948 in Bay City. Joyce graduated from Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw and was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. On January 15, 1967 she married George S. Hausmann and he survives her passing. Joyce was a loving wife, an amazing mother and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her husband George, Joyce is also survived by her five children, Hans (Traci) Hausmann, Heidi (Joseph) Vrable, Lars (Heather) Hausmann, Lara (J.D.) Polzin and Lisa (Silas) Warren; 11 grandchildren, Hans Jr., Joshua, Raine, Tristin, Nicole, Jacob, Jenna, Conor, Haley, Remy and Marley; two great-grandchildren, Grace and Logan; a sister, Amy (Warren) Nuffer; two brothers, Tom Toth and Steven (Dawn) Toth, Jr.; her mother-in-law, Eva Hausmann; two sisters-in-law, Beth Swoboda and Barbara Gulberg; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Joyce was also preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Hausmann.

The Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2016 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1010 33rd St. Officiating will be Rev. Joel Pankow. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Hausmann will lie instate at the church on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
