Joyce L. Peterhans

Joyce passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at her residence with her family by her side at the age of 77 years. Joyce was born in Highland Park, Michigan on November 29, 1941 to the late Maurice and Linda (Neu) Inglis. She married Robert Peterhans on September 29, 1962 in Caro, Michigan. She was a member of In His Presence Ministries and was also involved in the Women's Aglow fellowship. She worked for over 10 years as the office manager at Peterhans-Ritt Chiropractic. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, gardening, shopping and watching old movies.


Joyce is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Rob (Theresa) Peterhans, Stena (Mike) Ritt and Rhonda Lynn; grandchildren, Alec, Gabriel and Xaviera Schaefer, Justyn Peterhans, Kennedi Ritt, Mindi (Travis)Woolman, Amee (Clint) McDonald and Jessica Reinbacher; great grandchildren, Austin and Addison Woolman; brothers and sisters, Maureen (Gary) King, Terry (Debbie), Doug (Elaine) and Reece (Joy) Inglis. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sons, Andrew, Michael and Richard.


At Joyce's request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at In His Presence Ministries. Officiating will be Pastor Michael B. Baranek. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
