Joyce A. Switala

Mrs. Switala passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 85 years. The daughter of the late Elmer and Erma (McCarty) Paige was born October 23, 1933 in Kawkawlin, Michigan. Mrs. Switala enjoyed gardening, dancing and singing karaoke, but most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Switala is survived by her five children, Debra Rosebush, Barbara (Ken) Wishowski, Susan Nicol, Ralph (Jeri) Switala, Jeff (Linda) Switala; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Geri Switala; son-in-law, Ken Keister and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Norbert Switala whom she married on September 24, 1955; daughter, Joyce Keister and her son-in-law, Raymond Rosebush.

Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Dennis W. Matyas with interment following in Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
