Juanita L. Hensley

Juanita passed away Sunday afternoon, February 18, 2018 at Sheffield Bay Assisted Living at the age of 90 years. Juanita was born on January 2, 1928 in Palmersville, Tennessee to the late Gerald and Hattie (Roberts) Bivens. She was a member of First Baptist Church for many years. Juanita married L. Edward Hensley on August 17, 1946 in Detroit, he passed away on February 3, 2005.
Mrs. Hensley is survived by her children, Dr. Dennis (Rose), Gary (Donna) and Pamela Hensley; grandchildren, Nathan (Alice) Hensley, Jeannette (Kyle) Sagarsee and Andrew Hensley; great grandchildren, Grace and Lillian Hensley, Kate and Jack Sagarsee.
Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Bay City, 1145 West Center Road, Essexville, Michigan 48732. Officiating will be Pastor Dan Staples with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Mrs. Hensley will be taken to the church on Saturday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
