Judith A. Mathews

Mathews, Judith A. Akron, Michigan Mrs. Mathews passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 71 years. The daughter of the late Andrew and Martha Roseltha (Frier) Mathews was born April 13, 1941 in Clyde, Michigan. Judith is survived by six children, Richard (Pamela) Jager, Rodney Jager, Dennis Jager, Robyn Roach, John (Victoria) Chaney and Tracey (Mounir) Chaney-Oukazzi; twenty three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; one brother, Arden (Barb) Mathews; three sisters, Jane (Gordon) Jager, Ellen Duckwitz and Debbie Rosebush and her longtime companion, Eric "Rick" Montague and his children, Sheila, Erica and Sabrina. In addition to her parents Judith was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Lou Thomas and three children, Theresa, Ronald and Donald. Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Bishop Jim Fader from the New Hope Ministry Church in Akron, Michigan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
