Judith M. Nemode

Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 84 years. She was born in Bay City, Michigan on August 17, 1936 to the late Arthur and Helen (Kundinger) Arndt. Judy was united in marriage to the love of her life James Nemode on December 20, 1958.  Judy was a member and volunteer of St. Albans Episcopal Church and a member of AAUW. She was an active volunteer for the State Theatre and loved assisting with the Fourth of July.

Judy is survived by her two daughters, Susan (Todd) Steffes and Elizabeth Nemode; two grandchildren, Hunter Steffes and his wife Sue Nelson and Carly Steffes; sister, Janice Maes; niece, Pam (Scott) Johnson; great nephew Matthew Johnson; good friend, Lori Grew and many close friends and neighbors. In addition to her parents Judith is preceded in death by her husband, James Nemode.

A private Graveside Service will take place Friday, December 18, 2020 at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Nancy Mayhew. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to make a memorial contribution St. Albans Episcopal Church.
