Judith Ann Stack, age 71 years, of Saginaw, Michigan, loving sister, aunt, cousin, godmother and dear friend to many died Sunday, December 13th at Covenant Cooper in Saginaw, Michigan due to Covid 19. Judy was born on September 23, 1949 to the late Edmund and Juanita (Erney) Stack.
She is survived by her siblings and their spouses, Sharon Stack of Saginaw, Linda and husband Robert Rigda of Wake Forest, NC and Walter and wife Michelle Stack of Bay City. Her beloved nieces and nephew. (goddaughter) Nancy (Eric) Rapp of Franklin, NC, Nolan (Chandra) Rigda of Raleigh, NC, Nanette (Aaron) Merritt of Wake Forest, NC, Wesley (Kori) Stack and Sarah (Matt Kerr) Stack of Bay City and Aaron (Brenda) Stack of Reese. She is also survived by 9 great nieces and nephews; Jasmine, Justin, Cody and Kaylee Rigda; Carter and Bowman Merritt, Gwendolyn, Mallory and Madilyn Stack. She also leaves behind her goddaughter, Nikki Sherretz and godson, Charlie Wiltse. In addition she is survived by her very dear friend, Theresa Balogh and her husband Dennis of Norton, Ohio as well as many beloved cousins.
Judy worked for many years for Sterling Jewelry. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church of Bridgeport and was very involved in church and community activities. She loved the outdoors and traveling with her friend, Theresa. The stack family would like to give special thanks to the dedicated hardworking nursing staff on 3 north and Covid ICU at Covenant Cooper who took such great care of Judy.
Funeral Services will take place Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. John Mancini OSFS with the Rite of Committal at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. to receive family and friends on Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. We are still under the governor's order of allowing 25 people in our chapel at one time, so you may experience a wait.
