K.T. Moore

Mrs. K.T. Moore, of Bay City, passed away Wednesday afternoon, February 25, 2015 at Huron Woods Nursing Home, age 61. She was born on February 2, 1954 in Bay City. K.T. graduated from T.L. Handy High School, attended Delta College and was retired from Bay Medical Center. She was a very active, lifetime member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish - St. Vincent de Paul Church, where she served as a Eucharistic minister, and was involved in many other areas of parish life including the blood drives and parishioner retreats. K.T. enjoyed camping and doing any kind of cardio exercises to stay fit, but she also loved to walk, especially with her dog. K.T. was a truly caring individual, and it showed most in the love she gave her children. K.T. is survived by her three children, Jennifer Moore and her fiance, David Hagan, Brian Moore and his girlfriend, Alex Foldie and Eric Moore; her children's father, Al Moore; her two beloved grandchildren, Mylah and Jack; her mother, Theresa Smith; her brothers and sisters, K.C. Smith, J.C. Smith, L.S. Sayen, L.N. (Cozette) Smith and I.V. (Michael) Clark; many nieces and nephews; and her special friends, Pat and Jerry Kren and Rose and Richard Mastoianni. K.T. was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Smith; and an uncle, Uncle Little Man (Stan Luczak). It was K.T.'s desire for her remains to be gifted to the University of Michigan Medical School. A Memorial Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2015 at St. Catherine of Siena Parish - St. Vincent de Paul Church. Rev. Fr. John Sarge & Sr. Virginia Scally, SNDdeN will officiate over the funeral rites. K.T.'s family will be present at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
