It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Kane Elliott Crockett. Kane passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital at the age of 28. Kane was born July 25, 1996 in Bellevue, Ohio and graduated from Clyde High School in 2014. Kanes life was filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family, friends and most importantly God. He found great joy being in the outdoors. This enthusiasm started at a young age hunting, fishing, and camping with his father, grandfather and uncles. Kanes passion for the outdoors grew into his career as a Lumberman. He was the proud business owner of Crockett’s Tree Service LLC. He loved animals especially his dogs, Puppy, Mr. Whiskars, Cerulean and Boodler. Kane loved music and was always ready for singing and dancing with his family and friends around the campfire. Kane had many spiritual influences throughout his life which eventually led him back to a close personal relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Kane had a kind and adventurous spirit always willing to lend a helping hand. His warmth, humor, and love for his family and friends will never be forgotten.

Kane is survived by his son, Kaysen E. Crockett and Kaysen’s mother, Kelsi (Dylan Warwick) Wiswell; mother, Jody Bucklew (Bryan Koth); father, Derek (Melissa) Crockett; as well as, Denny Raypole Jr. “Daddy Denny”; siblings, Tylor Raypole, Forest Koth, Chanse Koth, Chloe Crockett and Kait Risner; nephews, Rowan, Lliam and Anthony; niece Harper; grandparents, David and Mary Jayne Crockett, Carly Bell, Marilyn Elder and Janice and Denny Raypole Sr.; great grandmother, Beverly Crockett and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kane was preceded in death by his, grandparents, Ronald E. Bucklew and Judith L. (Butch) Howey.

Two memorial services are being held for Kane, the first one will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Journey Church (565 S. State Route 19, Fremont, Ohio 42420) with a luncheon to follow. The second memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Radiant Church (2820 N. Euclid Ave., Bay City, MI 48706) followed by light refreshments. Those planning expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the beneficiary savings account at Croghan Colonial Bank for Kaysen Crockett.
