Karen Lee Johnson

Karen Johnson passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Brian's House at the age of 79 years. She was born on September 4, 1941 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Leota and Albert (Shurkey) Sutter. Karen was the beloved wife of Randy; they celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on June 15, 2020. Karen was a very loving and passionate person who enjoyed arts, crafts and Friday night cards with family and friends. She always saved special time to spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Karen is survived by her husband, Randy; three daughters, Beth Rabideau of Indiana, Rhonda Johnson (Randy Wallace) and Sherry Johnson of Bay City; six grandchildren, Amanda Wallace, Erica (Brandon) Pilon, Lauren and Logan Rabideau, Rachel and Rebecca Greene; four great grandchildren, Charlotte, Alenah, Gracen and Lennox; sisters, Shirley (Jerry) Yacks, Colleen Richter and Patricia Metzgar. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Tom Sutter.
Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Messiah Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Andreas Teich with private burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friend may visit with the family on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
