Karen M. Weber

Weber, Karen M. Bay City, Michigan Karen passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 23, 2015 at her residence. Age 67. The daughter of the late Norman and Leona (Zumer) Metiva was born June 26, 1947 in Saginaw. She had a great love for her family and her pet dogs; Chewy, Boo and Kallie and enjoyed going to the casino, gardening and shopping. Left behind to cherish her memory are her children; Tony (Sherry Babik) Tausch, Wendy (Robert) Verbeek and Kristie Tausch, also one stepson; Michael (Lissette) Weber, her grandchildren; Melissa (Tony Chinery) Tausch, Michael Tausch, Kari (Rich) Ferguson, Hugan Pumfrey, Sierra Tausch, Kayla, Katie and Kassie Verbeek, step grandchildren; Nicole Matthew, Sarah Weber, Jessica Jolly, Michelle Weber and Michael Weber, her great grandchildren; Lindsie and Lucas Chinery, Preston and Rylan Tausch and Alison Ferguson, one brother; Tom (Bobbi) Metiva, her sister-in-law; Barbara Metiva and one very dear friend, Evelyn Meinhard. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husbands; Gaylord Tausch and William Weber, one brother; Daniel Metiva. The Funeral Service will take place Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson and then Karen will be taken to her place of rest in Tuscola Township Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Friday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:00 o'clock Noon until the time of services.
