Katherine E. Cooper

Katherine Elizabeth Cooper at the age of 41 passed away July 26th, 2018 at home. She was born September 19, 1976 in Bay City, Michigan.  Katherine was the caring daughter of Michael A. Chatfield and Diana M. Yost. She loved to spend time with family and friends and was always a joy to be around. She worked at Bay County Medical Care Facility as a Nursing Assistant until her diagnosis in May of 2018.Katherine is survived by her mother Diana Yost, her children Elizabeth and Christopher Cooper. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Alexandra Luepnitz and Jameson Cooper. She also leaves behind many other family members, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, her sister, Cindy and her niece, Trista. At Katherine's request cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral home, Inc. A private memorial service is being planned for a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions for the wishes of the family.
