Lang, Katherine Bay City, Michigan Katherine passed away peacefully in the morning of Thursday, June 29th, 2017 at the Bay Shores Nursing Home. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late Jacob and Mary (Oblender) Lang was born in Saginaw, Michigan on December 24th, 1926. She was a devoted member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church for many years. Ms. Lang is survived by one sister, Frieda Schlicker and her nieces and nephews. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church on Monday, July 3, 2017. Officiating will be Rev. Paul E. Schweppe with Committal following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
