Kathleen T. Malenfant

Kathleen passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019 at Bay Shores Nursing Care and Rehab at the age of 78 years. The daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Doute) Malenfant was born April 27, 1941 in Bay City, Michigan. Kathleen was a lifelong member of Visitation Catholic Church and in her later years worked there and she is now a member of Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Church. Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Left behind to cherish her memories is brothers and sisters, Joseph A. Malenfant, David (Janice Chambers-Malenfant) Malenfant, Marylou Swaton, Timothy G. Malenfant, Julie (Robert) Hamilton, Stephen P. Malenfant and Sue Malenfant; numerous nieces and nephews; her longtime friend, Irma Kukla and special friend, Sheryl Czowski. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Tom, Mike, Dan and Leo Malenfant, two sisters-in-law, Judy and Joyce and one brother-in-law, John; her niece, Paula and nephew, Anthony. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of Bay Shores for the kind and compassionate care our loved one received during her time of need.
The Funeral Mass and Rite of Committal will be celebrated on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 11:00   a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Church. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm with cremation following. The family will be present at the church on Thursday to receive family and friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
