Kelly J. Appold

Kelly passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 47 years. Kelly was born in Bay City on March 13, 1971 to Michael and Cathy (Kintner) Flood. She was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust and worked for Bay Med, St.Mary's Hospital, Heartland and Covenant Hospital as a registered nurse. Kelly loved her boy's and enjoyed nursing, music, boating, animals, Ducati motorcycles and spending time with her friends.
Kelly is survived by her children, Dylan and Jake Appold; mother, Cathy Scott; stepfather Dave Scott; stepmother Debbie Flood; stepbrother's Steven Scott and Scott Campbell; stepsister Missy LaLonde, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kelly was preceded in death by her father, Michael Flood.
Funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. Officiating will be Pastor Dennis W. Matyas with committal following in the church cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Kelly will be taken to the church on Thursday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
