Kenneth G. Confer Sr.

Mr. Kenneth G. Confer, Sr., of Burton, passed away late Saturday afternoon April 9, 2011 at The Carriage House of Bay City. Age 86 years. He was born September 27, 1924 in Bay City, Michigan. Ken served with the United States Army during WW II and was the past President of the VFW Post 4087 in Davison, MI. Mr. Confer owned and operated Confers Cleaners in Ortonville, MI and retired from the Goodrich School System. He is survived by three children; Patricia Jane of Essexville, Kenneth G. Jr. and Linda Confer of Davison and Margaret and Donald Kerr of Bay City, ten grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one sister. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose one son-in-law; Issac Jane and many brothers and sisters. At the request of Mr. Confer cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Inurnment will take place in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI under the Auspices of the Members of the United States Army
