Kenneth passed away Sunday February 18, 2024 at McLaren Bay Region with his family by his side at the age of 81. He was born in Bay City, Michigan on January 25, 1943 to the late Kenneth and Fidelis (Oliver) Graves. Kenneth was a member of Faith Lutheran Church for over 50 years. He married the love of his life, Rosalie (Knopp) on August 7, 1965 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Kenneth enjoyed woodworking, golfing, doing yardwork, fishing, hunting, camping and tinkering in his shop.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rosalie Graves; three children, Kim (Peter) Champagne, Lisa (her significant other, Gerald Jacobs) Graves, and Scott (Tera) Graves; eight grandchildren, Nicholas (Brooke) Champagne, Jacob Champagne, MacKenzie (Fiancé Jake Zazo) Champagne, Gabrielle Champagne, Jeremy Ekkens, Janelle (Gary) Gottleber, Brendan Graves and Blake Graves; five great grandchildren, Delilah Zazo, Asher Champagne, Natalie Gottleber, Gary Gottleber Jr., and Brayden Gottleber; two sisters, Judy (Bill) Husband, Sharon Huntley and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Graves.
At the request of Kenneth, Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Faith Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Pastor Steven Thiel with private inurnment taking place at a later date. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to The Toni and Trish house or to Faith Lutheran Church General Fund.
