Kenneth William Snyder

Ken passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at his residence at the age of 70 years. The son of the late George and Ella (Jean) Snyder was born February 14, 1943 in Bay City, Michigan. Ken retired as a Lineman Technician from Charter Communication after 33 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, loved riding his motorcycle, playing horseshoes, shuffle board and riding roller coasters. Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife the former, Dian S. Grischke whom he married May 2, 1964, his daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Russ Van Sumeren, his son and daughter-in-law, Kim and Katie Snyder, his grandchildren, Paul and Ariel Van Sumeren and Tucker Snyder, his sister and brother Catherine and Rich Gavord, Bob and Caroline Snyder, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his grandson, Beau Snyder and his sisters and brothers. Funeral Services will take place Friday, June 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will Sister Mary Epple R.S.M. with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Thursday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
