Lance LeFevre Sanford, Michigan Formerly of Bay City Mr. LeFevre passed away on Thursday May 3, 2012 at the University of Michigan Medical Center, age 49. He was born February 6, 1963 in Bay City. Lance was a lifelong member of Messiah Lutheran Church. He was currently employed by the Michigan Baseball Foundation as the assistant general manager of ticket sales for the Great Lakes Loons. Lance was formerly employed at Meijers for 20 years. He was a owner of BigLance's E-Bay Auction Depot in Sanford. Lance was active with many community organizations and enjoyed taking trips to Las Vegas. Mr. LeFevre is survived by his wife Morag LeFevre; one daughter Kristina LeFevre and one son; Lance LeFevre Jr. all of Sanford; mother, Sharrie Gallagher of Bay City; father, William (Joyce) LeFevre of Bay City; two sisters, Laurie (Roger) Veitengruber of Bay City and Garria (Lynn) Arnold of Sanford; brother, Lane (Natalie) LeFevre of Sanford; grandmother, Dorothy Wilson of Linwood; father and mother-in-law, Donald & Martha Johnson of Bay City; brother-in-law, Mark Johnson and his wife Robin of Bay City; two step-brothers; two step-sisters; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Lance was preceded in death by his grandparents, William & Tillie LeFevre and Delbert Wilson. The funeral service will take place at 11:00am on Wednesday May 9, 2012 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 501 S. Catherine St. Officiating will be Rev. Andreas H. Teich. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 to 9:00p.m. and on Tuesday from 1:00 to 9:00p.m. Mr. LeFevre will lie in state at the church on Wednesday from 10:00a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family for a memorial to be established at a later time or to Messiah Lutheran Church.
