Chartier, Larry Joseph Midland, Michigan Formerly of Owosso Mr. Chartier passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at his residences with his family at his side. Age 67 years. He was born in Bay City and resided here until moving to Owosso to start his career in education. Larry graduated from Central Michigan University where he received his Masters Degree in Chemistry and retired from the Perry School System where he taught at the Perry High School for thirty years. He was an avid golfer for many years and enjoyed a good game of Poker. Most of all he enjoyed the time that he spent with his grandchildren and his family. Larry is survived by his wife Catherine Chartier, two sons and one daughter-in-law; David and Kris Chartier and Andrew Chartier, four grandchildren whom he cherished; Tyler Dallas, Brianna Chartier, Mason Chartier and Mya Chartier. He is also survived by his father; Lloyd Chartier, his brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Karen and Mike Ford, Linda Legue, Ron and Carol Chartier, Bill (Patty) Chartier, Nancy and Marty Reder, Michele Anthony and Diane Chartier and Many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother; Beatrice (Pajot) Chartier and one brother; Emery Chartier. A Celebration of Larry's Life will take place Friday evening May 30, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson. The family will present at the funeral home on Friday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Memorial cards for the "Wishes of the Family" will be available.
