Larry passed away Friday, August 19, 2022 at McLaren Bay Region with his family by his side at the age of 75. He was born to the late Aaron and Janice (Potter) Easton in Grand Rapids on September 29, 1946. Larry worked for GM for 34 years as an electrician.  He was a dedicated member of Joppa Lodge Chapter 315. Larry enjoyed the outdoors, hunted deer, wild boar and black bear. Larry was very proud of his black bear that he hunted in 2019. He had a great sense of humor and was a stranger to no one, he was able to fix anything and collected everything. Larry loved spending time with his family and his dogs.

Larry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Phyllis Easton; four daughters, Lisa (Scott Maison) Easton, Rebecca (Theodore) Duval, Megan (Scott) Lowe and Wendi (Branden) Knarr; six grandchildren, Cody (Brie) Easton, Sabrina (Brian) Sapp, Austin (Lucie) Knarr, Ethan Knarr, Blake Lowe and Bailee Lowe; five great grandchildren, Xander Sapp, Avery Sapp, Braylee Sapp and Baby Vincent Knarr (on the way); great niece, Shannon and Audrey (Chad) Cronk; two sisters, Laurie (Kevin) Peil and Lorane Peglow. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Kusmierz; three brother-in-laws, Mike Kusmierz, Mike Peglow and Tom Wojcik; sister-in-law, Sally Crisp; grandson, Tanner Easton; great granddaughter, Lilith Easton; nephews, John Kuhn and David Vance; niece, Trisha Primeau, mother-in-law, Eleanor Guest-Crisp; step father-in-law, Dale Guest and father-in-law, Delton Crisp.

At the request of Larry, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Dennis Matyas. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Ronald McDonald House, The American Diabetes Association or Alzheimer's Association.
