Laura M. Wieland Bay City, Michigan Our beloved sister and aunt passed away at Woodhaven at Bay City Senior Living on Monday, February 6, 2017 at the age of 92 years. The daughter of the late William and Anna (Maibach) Wieland was born May 30, 1924 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, was co-owner of Journey's Unlimited with her dear friend Marilyn Munsel and she survives her passing along with one sister; Edith E. Meier of Bay City. She was a mentor to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters; Helen, Floyd, Clemens, and Howard Wieland, Margaret Fierke, Marie Waibel, Mildred Wieland, Alice Wieland, Guy Wieland, Grace Ferguson and Eugene Wieland. Funeral Services will take place Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church. Officiating will be the Clergy of the Church with interment following in the Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Miss Wieland will be taken to the church on Saturday to lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
