Lauretha Boyd Jeske

Lauretha Boyd Jeske (Coleman) Bay City, Michigan Our loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Bay Shores Nursing Care Center with her daughter at her side. Age 81 years. The daughter of the late Frederick and Zelma (Coad) Coleman was born July 17, 1934 in Flint, Michigan. She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Campus, she enjoyed making crafts, gardening, playing cards, knitting and spending the winters in Florida. She is survived by her husband of thirty two years, LaVern E. Jeske Sr., two daughters and two sons-in-law; Vicky and Peter Buczek and Brenda and Jerry VanVolkenburg, her grandchildren; Michael and Elizabeth Buczek, Justin VanVolkenburg, Arica and Christopher Walker, Alicia and Brandon Amond, James VanVolkenburg, Nicholas Thick and Misty Thick, two great grandchildren; Ava and Jake Buczek, four step children; LaVern and Becky Jeske Jr., Jeff and Debbie Jeske, Kathy and Phil Bussinger and Debbie Grin, one sister; Gaynell and Walter Anable, one brother; Keith and Marie Coleman, her step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, niece and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sons; Raymond Thick Jr. and John Thick, two brothers; Elwin Coleman and Max Coleman and one sister; Veraine Sulzman. The Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal will be celebrated Monday, December 21, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish - Holy Trinity Campus. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert S. Gohm with private interment in Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday to receive visitors from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening. Mrs. Jeske will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the services. Memorial cards for Corpus Christi Parish - Holy Trinity Church or Bay Shores Activity Department will be available.
