Laurie B. Hudson

Laurie passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Brian's House at the age of 64 years. She was born in Bay City on September 18, 1956 to the late Joseph and Beatrice (Evans) McGivern. Laurie was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church for many years and worked and retired as a registered nurse around Bay County. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, breeding and showing Yorkshire Terriers. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren.
Laurie is survived by her children, Christopher Witbrodt, Emilee (Brett) Lynch and Elizabeth (Jason) Niederwerder; grandchildren, Christian, Ella, Lillian and Chase; sisters, Pamela McGivern and Rev. Nancy Mayhew; brother, Joseph (Jennifer) McGivern and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Denny Mayhew and nephew, Grant Gerhardt.
