Lawrence "Larry" T. Hogan

Hogan, Lawrence T. "Larry" Bay City, Michigan Mr. Hogan passed away early Wednesday morning, November 10, 2010 at Brian's house. Age 79 years. He was born September 16, 1931 in Bay City and has resided here all of his life. Larry was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, it's Ushers Club and the Bay City Lions Club. He retired from Consumers Power Company as a service man. On April 13, 1950 he married his wife of sixty years Joanne and she survives his passing along with one daughter and son-in-law; Bonnie and Greg Awad of Auburn one son; Michael Hogan of Kawkawlin, six grandchildren; Jody Watz, Amy Hogan, Taylor Hogan, Kristen and Kevin Rice, Brandon Awad and Lindsay Awad, two great grandchildren; Allison Watz and Ashton Hogan and one sister; Virginia LaCombe of Bay City. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Friday, November 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert S. Gohm with the Rite of Committal following in Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Thursday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Members of the Bay City Lions Club will meet at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 7:15 p.m. to conduct a Memorial service followed by The Vigil for the deceased at 7:30 p.m.. Mr. Hogan will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for Holy Trinity Catholic Church will be available at the funeral home.
