Lenora Anna Weiss

Lenora passed away early Wednesday morning, February 14, 2018 at Cartwright Hospice Residence at the age of 95. Lenora was born in Bay City on January 11, 1923 in Bay City to the late Edwin and Martha (Knoerr) Schlicker. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Amelith.

Lenora is survived by her son, Danny (Janet) Weiss; grandchildren, Trisha Tyll (Mysliwski) and her boyfriend Kyle, Ericka Walker (Weiss) and her boyfriend Jarome and Scott (Jennifer) Weiss; eight great grandchildren; brother, Alfred Schlicker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Weiss; son, Gary Weiss and granddaughter, Stephanie Weiss.

Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 19, 2018 at St. John's Lutheran Church of Amelith. Officiating will be Rev. Stephen P. Starke with private interment following in the church cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Weiss will be taken to the church to lie in state on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
