Leon C. Davis

Leon passed away unexpectedly on the afternoon of Sunday, October 8, 2017 at his residence. Age 68 years. Leon was born in Bay City on December 1, 1948 to the late Clarence and Carol Davis and was a 1966 graduate of T.L. Handy High School. Leon worked for Defoe Shipbuilding Company, Sea Ray boats in Lake Orion, Rupp Oil Company and retired from Rowleys Wholesale as a truck driver in 2006. He enjoyed spending time with his boys building and racing Stock Cars. Leon is survived by his sons, Timothy Davis (Ashley LaLonde), Chris Davis (LeAnn Craven); stepmother, Cathy Davis; sister, Nancy (Bill) Ulman; three nieces and their families; aunts, uncles and his first wife Diane Davis. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Davis and numerous family members. Per Leon's wishes cremation has taken place, friends may gather for a memorial visitation at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial contribution to the wishes of the family.
