Leon J. LeTourneau of Bay City, passed away early Sunday morning January 30, 2011 at Bay Special Care Hospital, age 83. The son of the late Charles & Delia (Martin) LeTourneau, he was born August 1, 1927 in Bay City. Lee served with the U.S. Navy during WWII. He retired in 1978 from Saginaw Manufacturing. Lee loved to care for his birds and squirrels. Lee is survived by his wife of 35 years, Betty J. LeTourneau; his son, Randy (Karen) LeTourneau of Saginaw; three step-children, Judy (Keith) Harris of Bay City, Tom (Sharon) Russell of Tennessee and Barb (Percy) Dubay of Bay City; grandchildren, Michelle (Anthony) Graham and Scott LeTourneau; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim (Cecelia) LeTourneau of Massachusetts and Charles LeTourneau of Mexico; two daughters-in-law, Linda Russell of Texas and Claudia Russell of Bay City; and his beloved cat, Misty. Besides his parents, Lee was also preceded in death by two step-sons, Jerry 'Butch' Russell and Terry Russell; three brothers and six sisters. Lee was truly loved by his family and many friends and he will be greatly missed. His family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Bay Special Care Hospital for the extraordinary care they gave Lee. As per Lee's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held. For those who so desire, memorial contributions may be made to Brian's House.
