Leona M. Andrzejewski

Andrzejewski, Leona M. Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Andrzejewski passed away Thursday morning August 19, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Ceneter. Age 90 years. She was born August 27, 1919 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. She was a life member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church and the Kiesel Pearls, a member of the League of Catholic Women and Men and a member of the Teamsters Local. She was formerly employed at Made Rite and retired from Keit's Greenhouse where she was known for making all of the corsages and enjoyed trips to the casino. On June 21, 1941 she married Al Andrzejewski in St. Hedwig Catholic Church and he survives her passing along with two son and two daughters-in-law; Arthur and Joyce Andrzejewski and James and Leeann Andrzejewski, five grandchildren; Robbie and Krisanne Andrzejewski, Kevin Andrzejewski, Lori and Kirk Taylor, Mark and Andi Andrzejewski and Shelly and Kevin Nickel, eight great grandchildren and one brother; Floyd "Jim" Janowiak She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Helen Janowiak and one sister Rita Smolinski. The Funeral Liturgy will be Celebrated Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Revin N. Kerbawy with a Rite of Committal at Oakwood Mausoleum in Saginaw. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Friday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.. Members of the Kiesel Pearls will Recite the Rosary Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home and the Vigil for the Deceased will take place Friday evening at 7:00 p.m.at the funeral home. Memorial cards for St. Hedwig Catholic Church will be available at the funeral home. Mrs. Andrzejewski will be taken to the church on Saturday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of service.
