Leonard Ray DeRosia

DeRosia, Leonard Ray of Bay City, Michigan passed away early Tuesday morning July 11, 2012 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 82 years. He was born April 10, 1930 in Presque Isle County and has resided in Bay City for many years. Leonard retired from Nodular Iron Foundry in Saginaw. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed hunting and shooting archery with his wife. He is survived by four children; Michael DeRosia of East Tawas, Terry DeRosia of Harrisville, Pam Fournier and her friend Keith Allen of Bay City and Troy and Tammy DeRosia of Bay City, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law; Donna Brown of Flint and Barbara Lay of Cottage Grove, OR and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife the former Beatrice Miller whom he married on October 4, 1947 and two daughters-in-law; Jean DeRosia and Anne DeRosia. Funeral and Committal Service will take place Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.. Officiating will be Pastor Allen Kozlow with private inurnment in Millersburg Cemetery in Millersburg, MI. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:00 noon and until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorial cards for American Cancer Society will be available at the funeral home.
