LeRoy passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017 at his residence. Age 58 years. LeRoy was born April 18, 1958 in West Branch, Michigan. He was employed at Matonek Trucking for 26 years before going to work for Foster Blue Water Oil, he was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, loved his Harley, dogs and especially his family. LeRoy worked hard his entire life so he could retire and spend more time with his family. LeRoy is survived by his wife of 36 years, Connie; four children, Brian Abram, Jennifer (Josh) Kreh, LeRoy (Lori Lagalo) Bennett and Scott (Liz) Bennett; four grandchildren, Alexis and Collin Kreh, Logun Abram and Jace Bennett; mother, Shirley Bennett; two brothers and three sisters, Cindy (Glenn) Williams, Anna (Don) Preston, Ed (Gladys) Bennett, Robert Bennett and JoEllen, Lisa Carollo and Brent McDaniels; father-in-law, Robert Jacobs; two brothers-in-law, Robert Brown and Howard (Crystal) Jacobs and his dog, Squirt. LeRoy was preceded in death by his father, Leo Bennett; mother-in-law, Louise Jacobs and grandparents, LeRoy (Marie) Bennett and Earl (Anna) Oakes. At the request of Mr. Bennett cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2017 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Dusty Ballard followed by Military Honors. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial cards for St. Jude's Children's Hospital will be available at the funeral home.
