Hair, LeRoy William Sr. Essexville, Michigan LeRoy William Hair Sr. of Essexville, MI went with the Good Lord on Thursday June 9, 2011 after years of battling a lung disease. Age 73 years. He was born August 28, 1937 in Saginaw, Michigan. LeRoy was such a hard worker all of his life and retired from the City of Essexville in 1992 and was formerly employed at Triple R Trucking Co. He was well known by many and so loved by all LeRoy was the Essexville's "Go To" guy. He was a member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Le Roy is survived by his wife of fifty years the former Rosemary (Toots) Dorey whom he married on August 6, 1960 and his special buddy; Wayno Dorey. He is also survived by five children; Dawn (Mike) Esseltine, Sally (Jim "Beano") West, LeRoy Jr. "Shoop" (Kelly) Hair, Kelly Moszyk and Lisa Walraven, nineteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, three brothers; Jerry (Adeline) Hair, Jimmy (Aletha) Hair and Bobby (Jan) Hair, two sister; Lillian Bickel and Elenor Dupuis. LeRoy was the greatest man a person could ever know. He is truly gonna be missed but will forever live in our hearts. The family would like to give his nurse Lori a special thank you. He sure thought the world of you Lori !. A Memorial Mass will take place Friday, June 17, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 6124 Pine St. Essexville, MI 48732. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Patrick C. O'Connor. At the request of Mr. Hair Cremation has take place. The family will be present at the church on Friday from 6:00 p.m. and until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available.
