LeRoy Passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region with his family by his side at the age of 82 Years old. He was born on September 7, 1938 in Fraser Township to the Late Raymond and Irene Holysko. LeRoy was a member of the Knight of Columbus council # 414. He loved to spend time in his garage fixing anything he could get his hands on and spending time with his family.
LeRoy is Survived by his wife of 40 years, Cynthia (Berg) Holysko; four children, Raymond Holysko (Hungary, Europe), Julie Ann (Al) Waitulions (Sterling Heights), Justin (Cheryl) Simon (Bay City) and Mary Simon (Bay City); six grandchildren, Chloe Waitulions, Hannah Rose Waitulionss, Ashley Lynn Simon, Lily Hope Simon, Sean Holysko and Gabrilla Holysko; sister and brother in law, Sandra (James) Ouillette (Bay City); niece, Renee (Dan) Ouillette (Minnesota) and special caregiver and friend Nick Burns. In addition to his parents LeRoy is preceded in death by his brother, Levi Holysko; grandson, Mason Waitulinus and father-in -law, Walter (Charmain) Berg.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Golden Horizons for the care they provided for LeRoy.
Funeral and Committal services will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 28, 2020 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Matt Place. Friends may Visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 10 visitors in the chapel at on time. You may experience a wait while paying your respects, face coverings must be worn. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to make a memorial contribution to Wishes of The Family.
