Bill passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 66 years. He was born in Bay City on April 14, 1954. On May 14, 1977 he married the former Amy Smith in Bay City and they were married for 43 years. Bill worked and retired in 2017 from BTI as a truck driver. He loved deer hunting and playing horseshoes and was in many tournaments. He was also a member of the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association for over twenty years. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Bill is survived by his wife, Amy; children, Samantha (Brent) Davis and Alicia (Rick) Hinson; grandchildren, James and John Hinson and Bailey Davis; three sisters, one brother and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral and committal service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 7, 2020 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson with burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the Gephart Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 25 visitors in the chapel at one time.
